The poem Jenin of Etel Adnan was published in French, in 2004. It is a text that poetically chronicles the recurring devastating attacks against the city of Jenin in 2002.
With this work in image and sound K&A honour the engaged artistic legacy of a poet that reaches out and touches us deep under our skin.

In the cold of our unheated houses we were keeping warm by the memory of our ancestors, thinking that our great-grandparents were demigods. Yes. For sure. Nothing else. But they came – the bastards, to eradicate, with bombs, to tell very simply that we didn’t exist.
