SUMMARY:NIAGA DNA
DESCRIPTION:NIAGA DNA/ or if you read upside down AGAIN AND\na 6\,5 days collective jumping choreography for la place du village \n“As a musician / question mark\, day after day\, during years\, i was repeating again & niaga the same patterns\, I was developing the key to open all doors simultaneously: falling / flying into the immense abyss of trance\, mixed with power and ultra-concentration. It is what the people call sometimes Niagara.” \nK&A invite the ones who pass-by “La place du village’’\, the meeting point of the city\, to join a smiling collective effort. K&A developed for NIAGA DNA an application\, that is using geolocation to immerse the architecture of the square into a jumping board game. The app. contains the DNA of the city\, build on the story of 47 lives that crossed the square. \n“As a body everyone is single\, as a soul never.” H. Hesse \nThe story\, translated into binary code (chain of 0 & 1) is made to be able to be jumped: Right is 0 / Left is 1. In the performance\, the public uses this app. to become and the performer\, and the viewer\, and the scenography\, and the past\, and the present\, and the future. At the end\, each one becomes the guardian of a small part of NIAGA DNA’s collective memory\, by getting the translation of the specific part that was jumped. K&A invite the whole city to connect to each other. \nIn the border of dance\, literature\, technology and endurance\, remembering the magnet of the feet -that for centuries carry ancient rituals- NIAGA DNA expands its roots on the square to include all in one. \nCreated for the city\, in the city\, by the citizens: AGAIN AND. \n  \nThese event was cancelled due to COVID-19 measures

SUMMARY:8102 - podcast
DESCRIPTION:Four numbers\, to form a single question: 8 1 0 2? K&A proposed a mirror\, a window: 8102. Challenging the mind to mirror the year 2018 to 8102\, the audience is asked to imagine a world in over 6000 years. The radiophonic piece of 8102 integrates a notebook library lying bright open on a table\, with the voices of Karla Isidorou and Alexandra Bellon as a guide through the continuously transforming coordinates of over 70 notebooks. K&A created a performance made by collective research with a growing community\, but also invite the audience to join them. The audience will leave with their own 8102 notebook\, an invitation for a long term collaboration towards the future. This project challenges the audience to displace their imagination and minds altogether towards an unknown territory. We strongly believe in the transformative power of an idea… is an idea not just a seed of displacement? \n  \n\nCreative Team:\n8102\, is a growing project & community initiated by the artist duo K&A\, formed by Karla Isidorou & Alexandra Bellon. Mixing their different backgrounds and their complex cultural roots they spread poetical & political concepts. In their work the single signature is killed\, they work within an equal collective atmosphere. By de-sponging & de-stealing the world K&A extract the matiére premiére that will be distilled again. Out of continuous distillations wor(l)ds arise to invite/invade the public. Part of 8102 is a growing community of humans with different ages\, cultures\, professions and conceptions of the world. SUMMARY:APOCALYPSE MON AMOUR
DESCRIPTION:APOCALYPSE MON AMOUR is an experimental documentary that zooms into the future 8102: a year in which the language is invaded by a virus. A live typed text is being engraved on the screen of the room\, the sounds of the amplified typewriter intrude the surrounding sound system of the cinema. Subtitles\, are not any more the sub\, but the protagonists. They become  the encoded images of the film. Through the cursor\, the live voice over and the circular sound the audience is blend into a looping apocalyptic world. \nA live film\, an immersive performance as an ode/death sentence to the letters of 8102. \nThe question is not what happens before.  The question is not what will be after.\nThe core is the transformation itself – as if typing into the eye of the cyclone. Letters swirling and dissolving into the air.\nYou lose your letters?\nTime goes on.\nHow long will you still be able to pass on the message? \n \nAPOCALYPSE MON AMOUR\, exposes the timeline of the expansion of a virus\, that grabs the common communication system: our language. SUMMARY:(G)loves for (G)ants - workshop
DESCRIPTION:A performative exploration of the dialogue between sound and visual elements based on the project (G)loves for (G)ants\nThe workshop allows us to broaden our listening of the world around us through a «sound magnifying glass»: the binaural / 3D recording. Participants sketch gestures\nand movements that make the gloves vibrate\, ring and move\, like a ballet of hands\, a giant instrument. The listening keys are constructed in relation to an empirical experience and theoretical knowledge is acquired through the playful interaction with music and scenographic elements.\n\n\nAbout (G)loves for (G)ants\n\nSketching 2111\, where there are only 26 jobs leftover for the hands of the humans. SUMMARY:MINUS 9
DESCRIPTION:MINUS 9 is an anatomic sound installation\,\na one on one performance of 14 min for an ear\, to hear\, here.\nIt is an invitation to dive into the sonographic scenography of your own body. \nFrom the outside all seems to be silent\, from the inside the first blast of the universe is making a big band. In MINUS 9\, the boundaries between musician and audience\, between music and ritual\, silence and sound\, drumming and dreaming are broken down. \n‘With MINUS 9 we tease the equilibrium in the hierarchy of the senses. Can the “ear\, hear\, here” become the touching vestibule of a new order? We challenge the distance in between. When do we allow ourselves to be touched\, metaphorically or literally? We invite the audience to re-question and rethink how we relate to each other. In our society a few roles trespass our comfort zone to touch our skin: doctors\, caretakers\, dance & sport coaches. They touch you but are you really touched? Music touches us emotionally\, but what if it would literally touch your flesh?’ K&A \nK&A within their performative constellations transform/translocate/transhape the relationship between the performer and the spectator to make it fluid.\nIn any theater the audience carries a predetermined role. Within the work of K&A the expectation to be silent\, to sit in the dark\, to stay immobile\, to watch the stage is being shifted. The latitude of the performer correlates with the longitude of the audience and is being redefined. In MINUS 9 the ear of the audience becomes the music instrument on which the composition is made on and the soundsystem through which it is perceived. MINUS 9 crosses the inner ear sound barrier\, exposes the noise\, the music that is hidden inside our own machine. This performance is a sonographer\, an ultrasound guide into the auditors unknown zones. It is an ode to the simplicity that carries the multiplicity. A performance for an ear: to hear/here. \n  \n4 Time Slots available – private event

\n  \n14 Time Slots available
