In “RADIX” music\, narrative and dialogues merge\, evoking a unique experience for the listener through headphones. Les auditeurs sont invité à un “voyage immobile”. Cette session d’écoute permet de se laisser porter par le son\, d’être immergé dans des territoires inexplorés entre fiction et documentaire. Dans cette session\, le public est invité à faire l’expérience de 3 bandes sonores immersives différentes\, provenant d’environnements et de mondes sonores variés (durée 30 minutes) \nA la fin\, les auditeurs sont invités à réfléchir et à échanger sur les pièces écoutées et les mondes sonores découverts! Binaural sound recording of music and text\, smell\, movement\, and narration come together on stage. \nCoffee is a migrant\, born and raised in countries miles away\, which we can now associate with our lifestyle and sometimes even with a “national identity” (Greece\, Turkey\, Italy\, etc.). The conditions under which and where the coffee beans are produced\, who profits from them\, and how they end up in our cups are rarely questioned. \nWith this performance\, K&A pay tribute to coffee and investigate the social and political conditions that have led to the practice of drinking coffee. Fascinated by how multiple cultures have embraced this drink and integrated it into their cultural identity\, K&A explore its origins and development. \n“Because goats danced in the moonlight\, because monks fell asleep praying\, because the Turks attacked Austria\, because Mohammed IV sent an embassy to Louis XIV\, because the English drank hard\, a new historical engine appeared… this is how we might sum up the prodigious adventure of coffee” Heinrich Eduard Jacob – L’épopée du café \nBetween history and fiction\, legends and myths\, the audience follows the journey of the coffee bean and coffee itself through time and space. \nAbout the sound of the performance In “KAHVE\,” the spectator listens to the composition through headphones that have been recorded binaurally. Binaural audio mimics the way human ears capture sound waves. By using this technique\, sounds are placed in three dimensions\, providing the listener with a fully immersive experience. DESCRIPTION:KAHVE ON TOUR at BOTANICAL GARDENS (NL) \nKAHVE is an intimate theater performance\, a warm invitation to experience the history\, political\, social\, and economic power of coffee in an immersive theatrical way during the preparation of a cup of coffee. Binaural sound recording of music and text\, smell\, movement\, and narration come together on stage. \nCoffee is a migrant\, born and raised in countries miles away\, which we can now associate with our lifestyle and sometimes even with a “national identity” (Greece\, Turkey\, Italy\, etc.). The conditions under which and where the coffee beans are produced\, who profits from them\, and how they end up in our cups are rarely questioned. \nWith this performance\, K&A pay tribute to coffee and investigate the social and political conditions that have led to the practice of drinking coffee. Fascinated by how multiple cultures have embraced this drink and integrated it into their cultural identity\, K&A explore its origins and development. \n“Because goats danced in the moonlight\, because monks fell asleep praying\, because the Turks attacked Austria\, because Mohammed IV sent an embassy to Louis XIV\, because the English drank hard\, a new historical engine appeared… this is how we might sum up the prodigious adventure of coffee” Heinrich Eduard Jacob – L’épopée du café \nBetween history and fiction\, legends and myths\, the audience follows the journey of the coffee bean and coffee itself through time and space. \nAbout the sound of the performance In “KAHVE\,” the spectator listens to the composition through headphones that have been recorded binaurally. Binaural audio mimics the way human ears capture sound waves. By using this technique\, sounds are placed in three dimensions\, providing the listener with a fully immersive experience. Van daaruit verspreidde de plant zich door Europa. DESCRIPTION:Zondag 9 November 2025 speelt de unieke voorstelling KAHVE om 14.30 en 16.00 in de Historische Tuin Aalsmeer \nStap binnen in de bijzondere voorstelling KAHVE van Karla Isidorou & Alexandra Bellon.\nTussen geschiedenis en fictie\, legendes en mythes nemen ze je mee op de reis van de koffieboon door tijd en ruimte. \nKAHVE is een zintuiglijke theatrale reis:\nMet geur\, beweging\, binauraal geluid en vertelling word je meegenomen in een unieke ervaring. Via een koptelefoon hoor je muziek en verhalen alsof je er zelf onderdeel van bent. Binaurale geluidsopname van muziek en tekst\, geur\, beweging en vertelling komen samen in de voorstelling op een unieke locatie bij u in de buurt: De Pekhoeve! \nKoffie is een migrant\, geboren en getogen in landen kilometers hiervandaan\, die we inmiddels kunnen linken aan onze levensstijl en soms zelfs aan een “nationale identiteit” (Griekenland\, Turkije\, Italië etc). In welke omstandigheden en waar de koffiebonen geproduceerd worden\, wie er winst op maakt en hoe ze nou eenmaal in onze kop belanden\, wordt zelden gevraagd. \nMet deze voorstelling brengen K&A een ode aan koffie en onderzoeken ze de sociale en politieke omstandigheden die het drinken van koffie tot stand hebben gebracht. Gefascineerd door hoe meerdere culturen zich deze drank hebben eigen gemaakt en toegevoegd aan hun culturele identiteit\, behandelen K&A hun oorsprong en ontwikkeling. \n“Because goats danced in the moonlight\, because monks fell asleep praying\, because the Turks attacked Austria\, because Mohammed IV sent an embassy to Louis XiV\, because the English drank hard\, a new historical engine appeared… this is how we might sum up the prodigious adventure of coffee”\nHeinrich Eduard Jacob – L’épopée du café \nTussen geschiedenis en fictie\, legendes en mythes volgt het publiek de reis van de koffieboon en koffie zelf door tijd en ruimte. \nOver het geluid van de voorstelling\nIn “KAHVE” luistert de toeschouwer via een koptelefoon naar de compositie die binaural is opgenomen. Audio die binauraal wordt opgenomen bootst de manier waarop menselijke oren geluidsgolven opvangen na. Door gebruik te maken van deze techniek worden geluiden in drie dimensies geplaatst\, waardoor de luisteraar een volledig meeslepende ervaring krijgt. Binaurale audio plaatst de luisteraar in het midden van de opnamelocatie en creëert zo een 360° sonische bubbel. \nOver de makers:\nK&A is een multidisciplinair kunstenaarsduo gevormd door Karla Isidorou (NL/GR) & Alexandra Bellon (FR/CH). In hun werk komen hun verschillende disciplines en hun complexe culturele roots samen. Karla Isidorou heeft een achtergrond in theater en beeldende kunst\, Alexandra Bellon is een percussionist en componist die ook actief is als performer in dans en theater. Samen bouwen ze projecten en concepten die voortkomen uit lange periodes van onderzoek. Boeken\, grillige beelden\, deserterende geschriften\, performatieve handelingen\, onvoorspelbare geluiden\, poëtische en sociaal-politieke contexten komen samen om een complexe filosofische omgeving te creëren waarin het statement dat bij elk project hoort wordt gevormd. Projecten van K&A starten bij een intuïtieve noodzaak en een tendens om zich buiten de gebaande paden te wagen. Als makers vinden ze inspiratie in de sociaal-maatschappelijk-politieke actualiteit en een drijfveer in hun eigen honger naar nieuwe vormen\, technieken en methoden. SUMMARY:WE WANT / sortie de résidence
DESCRIPTION:WE WANT EVERYTHING  \nest un spectacle retentissant\, envoûtant et radical\, basé sur le livre éponyme de Nanni Balestrini. K&A (Karla Isidorou & Alexandra Bellon)\, accompagnées de Gerindo Kartadinata\, emmènent le public dans la vie d’un travailleur migrant anonyme dans une usine automobile dans les années 70. Ayant migré du sud vers le nord\, il travaille dans la célèbre usine Fiat de Turin. Le public suit son quotidien : un travail pénible\, des gestes répétitifs\, peu de sommeil et encore moins d’avenir. Face à ces conditions de vie dures\, la colère gronde parmi les ouvriers\, menant progressivement à un soulèvement dévastateur. Il n’a plus rien à perdre\, il veut un changement et n’a pas peur de tout réduire en cendres si c’est nécessaire. Face à lui : sa petite-fille. Issue de la Génération X\, elle est indépendante\, court partout\, son agenda déborde\, elle est surdiplômée\, veut tout avoir. Parfois\, elle fait la fête avec des drogues jusqu’au petit matin ; parfois\, elle flirte avec le burn-out. Est-ce là tout ce qu’il y a ? Est-ce vraiment ce qu’elle veut ? Est-elle prête\, comme son grand-père\, à se révolter ? Les deux récits s’entrelacent tandis que l’espace vibre sous une percussion impressionnante et qu’un théâtre de mouvement intense rend palpable la tempête d’une révolution. WE WANT EVERYTHING parle de pouvoir et d’impuissance dans une société qui\, génération après génération\, produit toujours plus et consomme toujours plus. Entre 1970 et 2025\, le public est aspiré dans une expérience unique\, qui rend sensible la brutalité du capitalisme. Cette création de la cie K&A est prévu pour la saison 2026-2027 \nSortie de résidence \nLe Théâtre Pitoef accueille K&A pour la première période de recherche sur scène dédiée au projet WE WANT EVERYTHING. \n“Dans cette première phase de recherche\, nous nous concentrerons sur une exploration approfondie du texte en expérimentant avec la voix comme outil principal de narration et de transformation. À travers des improvisations vocales\, des lectures performées et des recherches sur les registres sonores\, nous chercherons à faire émerger une langue scénique organique et incarnée. Pendant la sortie de résidence\, nous partagerons les premières pistes artistiques avec le public et les professionnels.
